The Edsal EHD7848 is a 14 gauge welded steel cabinet with four adjustable shelves and a 1600 lb. per shelf capacity suitable for the storage of items. This cabinet has two doors that are hung on 9 gauge welded leaf hinges with brass pins for strength and open 180 degrees to facilitate access to contents. The handle on this cabinet is made of cast iron for malleability and zinc-plated for durability, and it accepts a 7/16 inch diameter padlock (sold separately). The handle operates a three-point latching system with a door latch and two vertical rods to hold the top and bottom of the door shut for security. The shelves in this cabinet adjust in two inch increments to accommodate the height of stored items. The bottom surface of this cabinet can be used as a fifth shelf. This cabinet has four metal legs with bolt holes to secure the cabinet to the floor (bolts sold separately). The metal legs keep stored items off the floor and facilitate sweeping or vacuuming.
